The Yellow Ribbon Club started as the grassroots effort of one family to send care packages to their son, then stationed in Iraq. It quickly grew into a network of mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, wives, and children across the country who wanted to send a bit of home to their loved ones. Supplies soon began streaming in from individuals, businesses, and organizations, and volunteers started answering the call to help assemble packages for delivery.
